I'm trying to blog once a month...it's the last day of February-I made it!  I was thinking about what photography advice I could give in this month's blog.  Technical advice is out the window.  I experienced an emotional aspect to photography that has overwhelmed my life in the past few days.  One of the family sessions I photographed had tragedy touch their lives.  I only met this family for the length of an average studio session...but unknowing at the time this session will stay with me forever.  My photography advice is to treasure your loved ones photographs.  If you have been putting off scheduling a family session or any type of important mile stone session, do not put it off any longer.  Photographs of your loved ones will comfort you in the future.  They will help tell your story to future generations.  I love the photographs I have of my grandparents, I am able to put a face to the name when I talk about them with my children.  I love the photograph of my niece in this blog, I will forever remember her requesting this pose, fixing her her & situating her in this huge tractor tire.  We created this eye-catching photograph together.  Photographs of yourself when you are young, old and each day in-between do not go unnoticed.  You never know what tomorrow will bring, but you do know that photographs help embrace the past.
